Moral Perspectivism in Nietzsche. A Performative Contradiction? A Reflection on Beyond Good and Evil

Abstract
In this work, the notion of moral truth in Nietzsche and its relation with the moral and religious attitude of the author are discussed. Following the treatment in Beyond Good and Evil, this work treats the problem according to which Nietzsche, on the one hand, makes categorical statements on moral and religious matters –for example, the distinction between the ethics of the masters and the ethics of the slaves– and, on the other, he defends the perspectivist thesis, i. e., that truth is an interpretation of the world from the perspective of our beliefs. The central question of the work is whether Nietzsche falls into a performative contradiction for this reason.
